Through our posts, we intend to share links to research articles, online media clips and book resources for those interested in learning more about mindfulness and how to cultivate their own daily practice.
We are influenced primarily by the writings of Thich Nhat Hanh, a monk carrying a lifetime of mindfulness practice and teachings, and Dr. Jon Kabat Zinn, the founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (a Western psychological treatment which incorporates yoga and mindfulness meditation).
We mention a list of a few of our well-loved books here, which we think are a useful introduction to what it means when we say we are focusing on the present moment with mindful awareness. This is not an exhaustive list, and more resources will be mentioned in posts to follow.
